Jarrod Shaw’s professional background clearly illustrates his industry savvy, competence, and leadership capabilities. But what isn’t as easy to convey in words or on paper is the degree to which someone enriches the human experience. A more perceptible quality for sure, but one Jarrod underscores as much as any college education or business achievement outlined in print.

Jarrod knows how to provide services people are not accustomed to or maybe even expect, continually transforming a potentially apprehensive process into an exceptional experience.

When Jarrod transitioned into the mortgage industry from corporate banking, he brought his “yes” mindset along with his interactive expertise in relationship management, leadership, and business and partnership development. Jarrod’s only rival to his exemplary customer service is his own vast skill set. With his proficiency in mortgages, complex credit planning, commercial financing, and tax and estate planning, and having once led a team of 140-plus bankers, Jarrod is equally comfortable generating productive and meaningful results as he is guiding others to success.

  • Jarrod has a bachelor of management degree from the University of Lethbridge, and he previously Personal Financial Planner and Qualified Associate Financial Planner designations while he was in the banking system. However, Jarrod didn’t need any degree or certification to learn the importance of working smart as much as working hard or figuring out how to realize his passion for this business and connect with people personally and emotionally. Jarrod’s goal has always been to evolve the client experience without constraint and centre it around integrity, trustworthiness, communication, and treating relationships as tenable bonds.

    A dad, Jarrod is also driven to create a life and legacy for his two young daughters of which they could be proud. His years as a competitive collegiate athlete have contributed to his determined style, and he loves teaching his kids sports — along with all kinds of cool activities. An outdoor enthusiast, Jarrod also enjoys snowmobiling and backcountry skiing.


Priscila Barbosa | BBA, Mortgage Professional

Priscila Barbosa always had a passion for homeownership, and her heart has always been in working with people. After enjoying a financial career that took her down different paths over the years, Priscila decided to refocus her dedication and spirit — along with her experience and knowledge — back to the mortgage sector to work one-on-one with people and help them achieve homeownership.

Priscila believes that every relationship should be a partnership, every client deserves to be a priority, and everyone should enjoy a stress-free experience.

After earning her bachelor of business administration from NAIT, Priscila launched her career as a personal banker at Scotiabank. Her exposure to Scotiabank’s presence in Fort McMurray’s fluid market enabled her to grow more than she could have imagined, and she earned the “Best of the Best” award for top-performing employees in just her first year. Priscila has since gained a sophisticated and complex understanding of relationship management, business development, and leadership. She has also nurtured a holistic approach to her clients’ needs, one she’s expanding by currently completing a wealth management essentials course.

  • After Priscila moved over to ATB Financial and worked as a mortgage specialist for several years, she was recruited to build and cultivate its entire private banking division for Northern Alberta. After successful implementation and ensuring an established footprint, Priscila decided to complete her mortgage broker’s license and return to what is most near and dear to her: assisting people with their mortgage needs. Priscila believes that every relationship should be a partnership, every client deserves to be a priority, and everyone should enjoy a stress-free experience. She continually delivers on all three tenets through expert guidance, consistent communication, commitment, respect, and availability that doesn’t end just because the workday does.

    Priscila isn’t all business, however. Away from her career, she enjoys the outdoors, exercising, trying new cuisines, and spending time with her family. Priscila is also passionate about volunteering for and sponsoring the Northern Lights Health Foundation, especially during its Festival of Trees season.


Kristina Dube | Mortgage Professional - BC & AB

Kristina also assists our team with enhancing the Client Experience to be the best in the business by using expert communication, process integration, file workflow management, and CRM management - and she has the expertise and experience to back it up!

Experienced in accomplishing strategic operational advancements in several business ventures and franchises, Kristina drives both client experience and satisfaction based on her high standards and determination. Her collaboration in multiple commercial and corporate deals with both local and foreign investors over the past decade has strengthened her true passion for working with people to create the most efficient solutions possible. Her role is to ensure the client journey is an exceptional one.

Striving for efficiency and simplicity through communication, she prioritizes our clients' sentiment with a friendly and engaging approach, her keen attention to detail, and her fierce personal accountability.

With her executive style approach and administrative solutions, her comprehensive ability to help our clients reach their goals by first understanding their needs is what sets her apart.
